I try to listen to everybody's input. Sometimes I do things others suggest, sometimes I don't. I usually don't make quick decisions, and try to consult the highest rated players in town, and the players with course design experience. The key things I look for are sustainability, maintanace, safety, flow, and fun factor on any hole. Lastly, I run everything by the Director of Parks. It's not rocket surgery.
I needs some helpers over the next few evenings and this weekend. This afternoon around 4:00 I;ll be on hole 4 at Bird, spreading mulch. If anyone as a pair of gloves, maybe a wheelbarrow and shovel, maybe a weedeater, and a strong back, I could use some help.
Harold and Tom, I did read your posts, and will be glad to discuss your suggestions, but in person on the course is better than on here. Jack, thanks.
Come on folks, get registered for the OSO. It'll be a fun day, and the courses are looking pretty good.
