KCFDC Scorecards are too artsy.
« on: August 14, 2013, 09:31:04 AM »
I'd like to suggest removing the KCFDC logo from the center of the scorecards.  The website is printed at the bottom of the card already, so there is no need for the logo.

The logo makes it hard to read scores.  Not all of our pencils are dark and/or sharp, so when they write grey, it makes it hard to read the scores written over the logo.

I was told that the recent scorecards had the logo come out darker than intended.  My opinion is that the logo itself is not necessary.

Less is more.   Thanks!

I  made some for Water Works and then some general ones.

General: http://www.fentondesignstudio.com/dgolf/kcfdc-metro-card2.pdf
Water Works: http://www.fentondesignstudio.com/dgolf/kcfdc-ww-scorecard2.pdf

They look like this:

That is beautiful Mike!!!!

That's what I'd like to see circulating around.  Nothing over the areas we use to write.  Perfect.  Classy.

Another thing that I used to do when I did the purchasing of the scorecards, is to get them in Hot PINK or BRIGHT Orange, lemon/lime yellow.  The reasoning is that at night as we lose daylight, it is even easier to read the scorecards off the bright colored cards......

The cards are nice, would be great if the center logo was removed.

Edit: Bad Fenton..

Why does it print multiple layers? the plain KCFDC one looks fine when I open it but it prints with multiple layers for some reason..  :'(
