Thoughts on Innova Atlas and Nova
« on: September 04, 2013, 03:42:08 PM »
I'm just curious if anyone has compared the durability of the Atlas (soon to be Nova as well) with the MVP plastics.  I love my Vector by MVP and will very anxious to see if Innova can meet or exceed their product with these new ones...

Personally I think the whole 'gyro' technology bit is a gimmicky crock.

Do flying discs rely heavily on gryoscopics? Yes.

Do MVP discs, and other overmolded discs, have more 'gyroscopic stability' than a normal disc? No.

The difference in weight around the rim (which is how you would enhance gyroscopic stability) is negligible.
