I just got the official list of exhibitors and a map of the exhibit for the Great Outdoors Discovery festival. The KCFDC is displayed prominantly on the map. There's going to be some prominent exhibitors: Dick's Sporting Goods, Price Chopper Outdoor Team, Ducks Unlimited, Kansas City Kite Club, etc. This show is Saturday September 30. I'm manning a booth to promote the KCFDC. I'm going to also set up 3-4 baskets for putting and a few demonstration disc golf holes. A few people have volunteered to help, would anyone else be interested? If possible I'd like to have a few of the pros give clinics, etc. If the weather is good this show could be a great promotion for the club. Later...
