All those places are expensive. Cost wise it wouldn't work if we wanted a pay out. Which is a shame, as getting into a sports type facility is a great way to promote disc golf as a sport.
The putting league could be expanded into an upshot/driving league also (some of those indoor fields are large). By doing this, any non-DG spectators seeing the hot shots in town parking field length drives may be drawn to the sport, in addition to the club and its members receiving outside recognition for the skill on show.
I would be into playing for 'pride' but I know we wouldn't get numbers to cover the cost of a facility like this. $100 - $150 = approx 20 - 30 persons @ $5 /session = no payout. At best we'd have 10 people out I reckon..
I'll keep an eye out for an alternative venue..
