54 Hole Smithville event
« on: September 23, 2013, 01:24:28 PM »
So...there's been some comments on various threads about a 54 hole single day event at Smithville.

Is this going to happen?

I would be interested in either a Friday or a Saturday schedule permitting.  This coming weekend 9/27 or 9/28 would be great.

Its in the works right now for a Saturday in mid-late October bonanza. I was discussing it with Harold and he was thinking Club championship tag rules will apply. You don't have to play all three rounds but the more rounds you play the better tags you can get. Just trying to hammer out the logistics, I believe.

Harold, did I explain this correctly?

sundays are great golf days too, that's when all the girls show up in bikini bottoms and hand out beers, etc. much better than Saturdays when entrance to the park is $20 I believe

I think the date is set for 10/26. Format still being discussed. 1 round on each course. All in tags. Some sort of buy-in. Better be some camping.

That's right. Looking at Saturday 10/25.. $15?  Payout at $5 per course. Tags all in club champ rules.

Should we open up Friday and Sunday?  I could hang out all 3 days on these 3 great courses while I'm not playing.
