tuff schedule, tuff courses, and I am too old to tuff that tournament out. those courses are for tuff golfers that have every shot and every desire to play the best on the tuffest course in the universe.

Actually the traveling players is catered to on this one Tank.  You can get up early Sat AM from KC, Wichita, or St. Louis, play your round, then set up camp.  Then play 2 rounds on Sunday and get out relatively ok.  It really does work better than trying to camp 2 nights out there in all honesty.  I thought the same thing but after the first year there, I understood it.

If you haven't played these courses, you are missing out.  It is an experience, and truly a fun course to enjoy.  I encourage everyone to attend if you can.

I am uncertain if I can, but I am trying to figure out HOW I could....

Anybody headed down for this? It's about two hours from me. Thinking about heading down Saturday morning and camping Saturday night.

10 years removed, I will be returning to one of the best tracks I've ever played on a beautiful piece of land that is Vichy! I encourage any and ALL to go! Great camping/golf/people/venue/etc etc..  I remember the music playing all night....glow golf..glow catch..washer tournaments that get out of control.. rows of campfires burning the night away.. The crystal clear water of the maramec that I believe the property abuts.. wildlife galore.. I can't wait!     If you are on the fence....GO!!!! ;D

I'll be at the Okie Open, tossin' disc's over Sprouty McSprout and McBeastie's heads...lol.....oh wait, I can't throw that far.  ::)

Ok then, I'll wait 'til they're on adjoining fairways, and just yell duck!  Yep, that should go over REALLY well  ;D

Fred is spot on....it is beautiful, absolutely breathtaking the entire time.  This time of year should be even better for the trees.  Just gorgeous.  Wish I wasn't injured, I would try to figure out how to get there....
