When do you think Blue Valley will be ready?

Great, thanks.  Did you see the earlier post regarding the bent sleave on hole 12?

Blu Valley Conditions

I played Little Blue Valley Sunday morning and the course is in really pretty nice shape.  The fairways are all mowed with the exception of hole 14.  That area has been mowed it was just not as short as the other fairways.  The course is still set for Big Blue so I just played to the empty sleaves to get in some practice.  The only problem that I noticed was that the sleave for hole 12 is bent.  Something hit it hard enough to bend the sleave and crack the concrete.  Eveything else looked like move the baskets and we are all set for City of Fountians.

Will there be guides out there for Big Blue.  I always get lost.

Whilst in town for 60 hours this weekend, I did manage to take a key over to DDKC for Scott.  I think that he has it, and I don't think that many of them need to be moved because of the Jerusalem Farms event.  Scott, you may want to go and walk through/play it to make a determination on the layout.

I would suggest the following though:
1-Original
2-Short (ACE RUN BABY!)
3-Only
4-Right (Hillside)
5-Short
6-Right (tunnel)
7-Front of the hill
8-Trees
9-only
10-Middle (to the right top of the hill...need 2 people to move this basket)
11-Short basket (Red)
12-Only
13-Either SHORT (New) or LONG
14-short
15-Under the Tree
16-Short
17-Short
18-By Trees (Lower)

My suggestions on the course, but you can choose!

As for Blue Valley.....

Is a great MAP, we will be playing the RED portions of the course, that is the inner course or "Little Blue".  You want to read the MAP for "S" configurations, in other words S1 is short course #1.

Hope to be able to walk and play without crutches by then, jury is out, but I would say that as long as I don't have any set backs, I am at 60% go right now.  If it was this weekend, I would be at 30%....

I walked Cliff today and all of the baskets are in place now.  I am going to leave 18 at the top of the hill as I have never seen it there and think it would make for a cool new placement.  So Cliff is set and does not need any pins moved and I still just have to verify Blue Valley.

18 makes it an ugly tweener finishing hole... lets play it to the long??

I would say it is a tweener hole in any position.  Nobody is going to deuce it (despite a fairway ace) and the long is definitely threeable with a good drive off the tee...
